Indications – may be prescribed for:
The initial nutritional management of cats with:
- Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD),
- Feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC),
- Crystalluria
- Struvite and calcium oxalate stones
- Urolithiasis
- Urethral plugs.
The long-term nutritional management of cats prone to:
- Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC).
- Struvite, calcium oxalate and calcium phosphatecrystals and uroliths
- Urethral plugs - almost exclusively associated with struvite or calcium phosphate crystals).
Contraindications:
- Kittens
- Pregnant or lactating queens
- Urinary acidifiers

- Individual requirements will vary depending on pre-existing nutritional status and medical condition.
- Consult with the treating veterinarian to establish a feeding guide for the individual patient
- Dry and canned formulas can be mixed or fed concurrently - if using with canned food, decrease the amount of dry food to avoid overfeeding.
