Description

It is recommended that a veterinarian's opinion be sought before and during the use of this product in order to determine the needs of your cat.

  • Prescribed by veterinarians for the nutritional management of adult cats with food allergies or intolerances - showing as either skin or digestive symptoms
  • Feed up to 8 weeks as part of food elimination trial
  • Contains hydrolysed proteins that are highly digestible and less likely to cause an allergic reaction
  • Special 5 nutrient complex to support the barrier function of the skin
  • Essential Fatty acids, EPA & DHA, help maintain a healthy digestive system and healthy skin
  • Fermentable fibres (beet pulp and FOS) and specific minerals, to promote and maintain a healthy digestive system

Indications – may be prescribed to nutritionally manage:

  • Food elimination trials
  • Food allergy with dermatological or gastrointestinal signs
  • Food intolerance
  • Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) 
  • Chronic diarrhoea or gastritis
  • Intestinal bacterial overgrowth 
  • Constipation (non-responsive to dietary fibre) 
  • Colitis
  • Eosinophilic granuloma
  • Pancreatic insufficiency
  • Hepatitis
  • Malabsorption and maldigestion
  • Vomiting

Contraindications: 

  • There are no contraindications for this product

Ingredients:

  • Rice, hydrolysed soya protein isolate, animal fats, vegetable fibres, minerals, hydrolysed poultry liver, soya oil, beet pulp, fish oil, Fructo-Oligo-Saccharides (FOS), borage oil, marigold extract (source of lutein)

NUTRITIONAL ADDITIVES

  • Vitamin A: 25300IU, Vitamin D3: 800IU, E1 (Iron): 41mg, E2 (Iodine): 3mg, E4 (Copper): 10mg, E5 (Manganese): 55mg, E6 (Zinc): 206mg. 

Feeding Advice: 

  • It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use
  • Feed Hypoallergenic for 3 to 8 weeks
  • If signs of intolerance disappear, this diet can be used indefinitely
