 Indications – may be prescribed to nutritionally manage:

  • Adult cats with lower urianry tract disease who have difficulty in maintaining ideal body weight
  • Dissolution of struvite uroliths
  • Management of recurrent struvite and calcium oxalate urolithiasis using a single diet

Contraindications: 

  • Chronic renal failure
  • Metabolic acidosis
  • Heart failure
  • Hypertension
  • Treatment with urine acidifying drugs 
  • Pregnancy
  • Lactation
  • Growth

Ingredients

  • COMPOSITION: dehydrated poultry protein, rice, wheat gluten*, maize flour, vegetable fibres, maize gluten, minerals, animal fats, hydrolysed animal proteins, fish oil, soya oil, fructo-oligo-saccharides, egg powder, hydrolysed crustaceans (source of glucosamine), marigold extract (source of lutein). ADDITIVES (per kg): Nutritional additives: Vitamin A: 22300 IU, Vitamin D3: 500 IU, E1 (Iron): 41 mg, E2 (Iodine): 3.2 mg, E4 (Copper): 6 mg, E5 (Manganese): 54 mg, E6 (Zinc): 177 mg, E8 (Selenium): 0.07 mg - Preservatives - Antioxidants

Feeding Advice: 

  • Feed for 5 to 12 weeks for the dissolution of struvite stones
  • Feed for up to 6 months for the reduction of struvite stone recurrence.
  • Can be used long-term under the guidance of your veterinarian.
  • It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use, extending the period of use or stopping use.
