Shipping & Returns
All our parcels are checked by a registered Australian Pharmacist and packed carefully to ensure they arrive to our customers in a safe manner.
Our standing shipping cost is $7.95 for parcels up to 500g within Australia.
For parcels over 500g, the shipping costs vary depending in the parcel weight, shipping location and the type of shipping method required.
Orders over $99 are eligible for FREE* standard shipping. Please note this is valid for orders under 500g. Any orders over $99 and heavier than 500g will however receive a $7.95 discount on their total shipping cost.

To ensure your order is shipped as soon as possible we recommend placing your order before 2pm the day before to have your order shipped off the next business day.
Orders placed before 10am on a weekday will be dispatched the same day so long as the stock is available in our pharmacy premises. Any orders placed after 10am, will be dispatched the next business day, so long as the stock is available from our suppliers.
Please note in some cases it may take 1-2 extra business days to get the stock in and your order dispatched. For any urgent orders, contact us to check stock availability and so that we can mark your order as a priority
For compounding orders we ask that you allow 2-3 business days for the medication to be custom made before dispatch. Compounded items are specifically made as per order so we cannot have these pre-made until payment and prescriptions are received.
COVID-19 UPDATE: Please note we have experienced some unexpected delays from our couriers and our deliveries so we are recommending to ensure all orders are placed in advance to ensure your pet does not run out of medication. We are recommending orders to metro cities to be placed a week in advance and 2 weeks for those in rural or regional areas.
We deliver to all addresses within all states and territories within Australia. We ship to parcel lockers and PO BOX addresses Australia-wide.
Please note we do not ship overseas due to strict custom regulations
Once a prescription item leaves our pharmacy, by law they cannot be resold. As such, we cannot process refunds for any unused medicines once they have been dispatched. Any medicines returned to us are disposed of in an appropriate manner and unfortunately a refund cannot be issued.
Please consider this when making the decision of what quantity of medicines to order as these cannot be returned for a refund if no longer needed.
If you no longer require your pet's medication you also have the option of taking it to your vet or local human pharmacy for proper disposal.
At Pet Care Pharmacy, we strive to do our best to offer the best service available and have a hassle free returns policy. Please note that except where your order was not accepted, no credits or refunds for products supplied can be given without first contacting us. We will provide you with a return address before you can send back any items.
If you send back any items without the correct address a refund may not be able to be given. We will offer an exchange or refund for the cost of the item provided that the item as well as the receipt for proof of purchased is received within 30 days of purchase. The item must remain unopened and unused, must not be damaged and is in its original saleable condition.
We will accept product returns and provide you with an exchange, refund or repair where the product is faulty or is not of acceptable quality, or significantly different to those shown or described to you, or if the product is not fit for its intended purpose or is unsafe.
We will not be liable under any circumstances for any loss of damage, whether direct or consequential, arising from events beyond our control and we reserve the right to not offer an exchange, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect. We reserve the right not to offer an exchange or refund if it does not meet the above criteria.
To complete your return, please contact us to discuss the nature of your return.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that your returned item has been received. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied via your original method of payment.
Please note the purchaser is required to pay all shipping costs incurred in returning items. In the case where this is not done, the refund will be net of any return and outbound postage charges incurred as a result of delivering and returning your order.
We currently use Australia Post and Sendle to dispatch our parcels to be able to keep our shipping rates low.
As most of our parcels are shipped via Australia Post, shipping times will vary depending on your location. Please see the below shipping estimates given by Australia Post.
